Renaissance Scholarship Application

To members of the Boston Renaissance Charter Public School family,

The Boston Renaissance Foundation, Inc. – the non-profit organization established to generate financial and other resources for the school – is pleased to continue a long tradition of providing scholarship awards to graduates of our fine school.  This year, we continue our practice of granting the Boston Renaissance Foundation Scholar’s Awards to new and former graduates (including the class of 2019) of the Boston Renaissance Charter Public School who will be entering into grades 7 – 12, in any parochial or private school.

If your son or daughter is graduating and planning to attend a private school with tuition fees, please do apply.  Or, if you happen to know another interested student meeting these qualifications, please encourage them to apply for a scholarship.

Please note, all applications must be received by June 30, 2019, including:

  1. The completed and signed application (which is enclosed with this letter, and on the school’s website and its Facebook page)
  2. The student’s school transcript or most recent report card
  3. A 500-word essay in which the student talks about their hopes and/or dreams as it relates to their education, their future career, or their active participation inprograms related to education, youth or community.
  4. A recent photograph
  5. At least one letter of recommendation from an adult who is not a member of the student’s family

Application materials should be submitted directly to Boston Renaissance Foundation (not to the school).  Please mail your application materials to the Scholarship Committee at:
