Annual Report
BRCPS submits an Annual Report to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education each year, providing detailed information on the activities and outcomes of the previous school year. This report is a requirement for all Commonwealth Charter Schools in the state, and is a public document. Questions about the Annual Report should be directed to the Public Records Officer, below.

District Curriculum Accommodation Plan

BRCPS has adopted a District Curriculum Accommodation Plan to ensure that all efforts have been made to meet students’ needs in the regular education setting. The plan is designed to assist the regular classroom teacher in analyzing and accommodating diverse learning styles of all children in the regular classroom. The plan articulates provision of appropriate instructional intervention for students who may not qualify for special education services under chapter 71B.
ESSER III IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021, Public Law 117-2, was enacted on March 11, 2021. The ARP Act provides additional funding for school districts to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Education portion of ARP is known as the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER III or ARP ESSER) Fund. The purpose of the ESSER III fund is to support the safe reopening and sustaining safe operations of schools while meeting students’ academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

English Language Education Review Notification
DESE is conducting a Tiered Focused Monitoring Review of our ELE department this March. The Office of Language Acquisition reviews each district’s and charter school’s ELE program every six years to monitor compliance with federal and state English learner education laws and regulations.
